This site is to help family history researchers locate records for their families who resided in Stettin, Pomerania.
I recently came into possession of a large collection of transcribed vital records from Stettin, Germany. These records had been compiled by several volunteers who had an interest in this locality. It was their desire to make the information more accessible to researchers and enable others to locate their families in this large city. Because the project was very time-consuming and tedious, some of the volunteers lost interest, and others retired. Soon the project was no longer a priority. When they came into my hands, they were not organized and some of the information was incomplete. Still, I did want to make the lists of names accessible to family history researchers because of their value.
